Because Star Bright is committed to providing quality books to as many children as possible, we publish books in sixteen languages—and that list is always growing. We believe in helping children strengthen their sense of pride in their family's culture, regardless of what language is spoken at home.

Star Bright continues to recognize the need for bilingual books. Not only are they useful for children who are learning English as a second language, but they also allow parents and family members to share the joy of reading with their children.

In addition, our foreign language titles foster multicultural respect by introducing children to new languages and traditions. Many parents, teachers, librarians and others have told us how much they have enjoyed sharing with children our Brian Wildsmith books in Navajo, for example, or showing them how the Farsi and Arabic editions are read from right to left. These lessons are invaluable tools for promoting understanding and pride.
