About Us
Star Bright Books is an independent publishing company dedicated to producing the highest quality books for children. Star Bright Books was established in 1994 by Deborah Shine with the goal of making books that are fun for children, and fun to share with children.
We recognize how important it is for children to acquire a love of books at the earliest possible age. In pursuit of that goal, we publish stimulating and fun board books in sixteen languages. We work very closely with national literacy groups, and our commitment is reflected in the quality of our books and the discounts we offer. If you are part of a reading program that gives books away to children, please be sure to ask about our discounts.
Star Bright Books produces books that embrace children of all colors, nationalities and abilities, because we believe that all children should see themselves in print. We attend conferences all over the country where we talk to parents, educators, librarians, booksellers and other professionals in an effort to promote books that are meaningful and sensitive to the needs of all children.
